Denham Capital appoints Justin DeAngelis as Global Head of Sustainable Infrastructure
11 November, Jersey City – Denham Capital appoints Justin DeAngelis as Global Head of Sustainable Infrastructure. Previously, Justin served as Partner & Co-Head of Denham Sustainable Infrastructure (“DSI”) alongside Scott Mackin for approximately four years, overseeing the platform’s growth into a $3.4 billion AUM global equity and credit sustainable infrastructure business. Scott Mackin will remain in his role as Partner and Head of London office.
In his new role, Justin will assume full responsibility for DSI’s strategic leadership and execution. Justin has over 25 years of global investment, fundraising and operational experience, dating back to his time working in power plants. Since 2020, under Justin’s guidance, DSI has successfully established a credit platform, hiring and integrating an entirely new credit team, in conjunction with a $2bn commitment from US insurer, Aflac. He was also responsible for executing a refreshed investment strategy which includes expanding into sustainable infrastructure sectors beyond power generation, recalibrating the investment team into two investment locations and advancing a ‘buy and build’ equity investment approach to create value and growth across Denham-backed platform businesses. Justin will continue to focus on implementing DSI’s value-add approach to support industry-leading teams in delivering affordable sustainable infrastructure.
