Denham Capital Appoints Arturo Prieto as Managing Director of Sustainable Infrastructure Credit Platform
| CreditDenham Capital, the global private equity & credit infrastructure investment firm , announces the appointment of Arturo Prieto as Managing Director in its Sustainable Infrastructure Credit Platform.
Mr. Prieto brings more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure finance and private debt capital markets across North America, Latin America, and Europe. Throughout his career, he has advised sponsors, developers, financial institutions, and institutional investors on the origination, structuring, execution, and distribution of financing transactions across infrastructure and energy sectors. Mr. Prieto’s expertise in originating, structuring, and mobilizing capital for infrastructure investments will further enhance Denham’s platform as it continues to grow in the sustainable infrastructure market.
Prior to joining Denham, Mr. Prieto spent more than 18 years at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, where he held several senior leadership positions in New York and Madrid. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Head of Private Debt Mobilization for the Americas in New York, leading a multidisciplinary team responsible for originating and distributing private debt transactions across infrastructure, corporate loans, fund finance, trade finance, and other alternative credit strategies.
Mr. Prieto also previously led Santander’s Infrastructure Debt Advisory business for Latin America, advising sponsors and borrowers on the structuring and execution of complex infrastructure and project financings across the region. Earlier in his career, he was part of Santander’s North American Project & Acquisition Finance team in New York, focused on energy and infrastructure investments.
